Meet The Team

Kim
Company Director/Creative
Hello, I'm Kim, it's lovely to meet you!

I founded Routine Riots back in 2009. As a professionally trained Dancer/musical theatre performer and qualified dance teacher with the ISTD, I've worked at Disney Land Paris and on stages across the UK for various production companies. Through gaining these experiences, Routine Riots started off mainly dance based with classes, parties and tuition for all ages, but ever evolving over the years, we began to include character based entertainment and a whole lot more! My passion is performing and making little people happy! I've been writing and producing children's theatre, stories, songs and books for over 15 years now, creating large scale stage productions and event entertainment around the UK!

Our aim as a company is to bring fun, laughter and happiness to lots of little faces through the wonder of imagination! Check out our creative family below who help bring the magic to life!

Lauren
Lauren trained in multiple dance disciplines and has a degree in drama and theatre studies. Apart from being a great performer she also teaches performing arts to children and works in casting. Being a mum herself, she's fantastic with the little ones and a fabulous hoolahooper. She is also one of our event managers!
"My absolute favourite aspect of the job is performing in Routine Riots Shows. The rehearsals are always fun and I love how interactive the scripts are, involving the kids. I love working with Routine Riots because it feels like a family, so supportive and encouraging, we spend our days laughing and making children laugh, it's so special!"
Clare
Clare trained at London Studio Centre and graduated with a 1st class degree in dance. She's worked onboard cruise ships sailing worldwide as well as in UK theatres. She also teaches dance and has had experience as an LSA in primary schools. She's a fabulous performer and has a wonderful way of engaging the children. Clare also supports us a great deal with all of our back stage production and set up and is another of our event managers!
"I love taking part in the production shows with the team. There is such a variety of opportunities to perform. Every event is exciting, imaginative and so much fun!"

Emma has a BA hons in Musical Theatre from the university of Winchester and has studied Musical Theatre and voice work with London College of Music. Emma's been with us since the beginning and has a huge range of skills. As well as performing for us (she's a beautiful singer) Emma teaches musical theatre to children of all ages and no wonder because she's so great at engaging the children! She is also a fabulous mum and one of our very talented face painters and balloon twisters and often involved with managing our events!
"There is nothing better than seeing the smiling faces of children when they are fully invested in the magic. I love creating magical experiences for children and giving their families memories to cherish for years to come."
Ella
Ella trained in performing arts and dance at B.A.D where she represented Team England at the Dance World Cup. She's currently now pursuing a law degree with the goal of qualifying as a lawyer but her background in performing arts means she still loves to perform with us seasonally putting all of her incredible skills to great use!
"I love the opportunity to create joy, inspire imaginations and to bring magical experiences to life with Routine Riots. Being a part of something that sparks happiness and wonder in children is truly rewarding"

Lizzie
Lizzie trained in musical theatre at Drama School London and has worked at Disney Land Paris and as a singer on cruise ships traveling the world. We love Lizzie's beautiful voice and characterisations and she's a dab hand at face painting too!
"Singing and face painting are what I love most about the job. I love working for Routine Riots because i always have so much fun with my team mates!"
Paul
Paul has a Drama and Theatre Studies Degree and has acted professionally in TV and film as well as touring schools delivering drama workshops. He has spent over 5 years teaching acting to children as well as mentoring and taking part in regular youth work. Paul always brings laughs and fun to rehearsals!
"There's nothing more exciting than performing in a live Routine Riots show and particularly getting the kids involved in some magic, a joke or a song! Bringing smiles to everyone's faces is always special!"

Morgan
Morgan graduated in Musical Theatre at Italia Conti, she's a 5 time UK dance champion and a fitness instructor with a flare for ballroom and latin, who has performed as a professional dancer on stages all around the UK and for the BBC. Morgan's great at interacting with the children especially at our selfie stations and meet and greets and helps out a lot with back stage production.
"I love dressing up and putting smiles on kids faces, chatting to them about all sorts of things! Routine Riots is a massively family based company and every rehearsal or performance is full of fun and laughter!"
Ami
Ami has always loved performing since a young age, singing and dancing in shows, but her real passion is people and she's very experienced in working with them from traveling the world through air hostessing to hairdressing, entertaining and of course being a mum herself! We love Ami's kind and gentle nature. She is also one of our wonderful face painters and balloon twisters and when not performing with us Ami is busy learning aerial silks, and makaton for babies and young children.
"I love learning new skills with Kim and performing with such a lovely team. I love performing and making people smile. It's the best job i have ever had!"

Steve
Steve is a retired police officer and grandfather to two! He's also our resident Father Christmas. With his wonderful nature with children, natural beard and uncanny resemblance we think he's the real deal!
"It is a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience working with Kim and the team over the Christmas season. Seeing the smiles on the children's faces, hearing the children and parents laugh and keeping the belief in Santa alive is extremely rewarding!"
